Busy, busy. Too much work and too little time. Hopefully, I can unwind this weekend at the CD Exchange. I am almost done burning all the copies. I ended up pretty happy with my mix, but had to shave a few tracks to fit it all on 1 CD.
With any luck (not that I'd ever want to rely on luck), it'll also be a celebration of sorts for me. For those of you who don't already know, my company is probably being bought out, and stage one begins Friday (only 6 months late). But, seeing as how I've had the rug pulled out from under me a million times in the past, I'll withhold my happiness until after the fact. I could use some security and piece of mind though. It seems I've been on the brink of something good for so long, I can only understand anticipation, not realization.
In other news, my beloved White Sox open their season on Sunday. Can you say "defending World Series Champs"? The weather is also getting warmer, always good for mood improvement. All I need now is a few kiki_michelle sunrise pix, and I'm there. And maybe a vacation, somewhere remote and beautiful.

as the weather's getting warmer i'm finding myself missing my sunrises more & more..
i'm going to be gone this weekend, and i'm truly bummed i'm not going to be able to chat with you at the cd exchange. i may try to head over to quenchers on Sunday, but we'll see how i'm feeling after a 5 hour drive.. might just want to be home alone
