I’m back again. I stepped away to work on my relationship but it just could not be fixed. Kat moved out and started dating a coworker.

I met Macy. She was everything I’d ever dreamed of in a woman. She just lit up things wherever she went. She made me feel important, validated, loved. She was on her way home from work in Nov 2020. She had car troubles on the freeway. If she would have just stayed in her car. She was hit and killed by a car. It broke me. She was just 22.

I lay awake at night thinking things like what if she was hurt and crying for daddy and I wasn’t there. She must have been so scared. It’s my fault I promised to protect her always. I’m in therapy but I think it’s eventually going to kill me.
