the chills turned into a fairly mild upper respiratory infection. i was lucky: i did'nt get bronchitis. so a minor victory indeed! generally, i've been feeling less down, a little more talkative, and by chance made a new friend! i went to see xiu xiu (the band), and that was nice. 
they have a passion that is uncommon in the "indy rock" field, and it was a real pleasure to see them with a close friend.
finally, after all these years, i'm cementing plans to go to school, as i never went. i'm going to study comp sci, linguistics and maybe some music composition. i've been very interested in the "new york school" for some time now, so i'm gonna flex some cageian muscle as well as become employable and educated. hopefully it won't interfere too much with my practice, and the music thing will keep me sane (exploring).hope they give me the money i need, cuz northwestern is an expensive ass school, and i'm flat broke.
