the dental appointment, went great!!! he was very competent and handsome, two things i look for in a health care professional. now i'm trying to avoid the dreaded dry socket. got a tooth surgically removed, with several more appointments to come. wish me luck. and thanks for all your well wishes

i've been spending a lot of time working on an artist book that i'm going to give my g/f. trying to avoid a writing love poems, mostly because i'm no good at them, but also, if we fall apart, i want to be remembered as a kinda decent artist, and not just her shitty ex. am i doing this wrong? it's been so long. every step feels really tentative to me. mostly feeling reserved and self conscious. i guess that's how a new relationship works. lots of jitters, until everything sinks into familiarity. ahhhh, lamda in love. what a joyous folly.
