Hello World!
Not that much has happened this week. Just work with a few odd speed bumps in this road I call life. I've come to learn that men enjoying screaming things at me. I don't what it is I do them to cause this, but it increases more with time. Whether some dude decides to scream big sexy at me ( btw not a fan of that) or he decides in the middle of 34th street while everyone and the their mom is crossing the street to repeatedly scream I wanna date a big girl while staring at me. These men just feel screaming their emotions at me is the best way to get me attention. while its not, i get embarrassed, cross the street and walk as fast I can away from them.
I've also learned today that I must the only light skinned black person in my neighborhood. I feel like a zoo animal let out of my cage sometimes when I walk around my neighborhood. I get that I'm in general taller than most people, my hair is a decent length, and I have a neon pink handbag. But that is no reason to look at me like Im on fire when there is a 16yr old walking around with pants so low her underwear is hanging out. I think on staring pole I should be a lot lower.
So besides the screamers and the starers, I drank with my co-workers this week. Its wasn't bad at all. And my boss paid for everyones drinks.
I basically got drunk before 8 home by 9 in bed at 11, and at work by 830 friday to close out the week. So not that bad of week if I say so. And next should be good too. Wednesday is the office Mardi Gras Gala. Open bar for 4 hours, beads, masks and crazy drunk artists. Always fun.
