It's that time of night/early morning when my brain starts to egg me on "C'mon! Stay up! You'll get so much done! You don't need to sleep. I don't care that you have to work in the morning. You can do it. Take vivarin... drink some coffee... go for a walk at 5am and go get the paper and a donut."
Why is my mind so very, very evil!???
I have to work at 10am... well, actually I start at 9am, but this place I temp for is really laid back. Plus, right now I'm finishing some work for them that I blew off just before the holidaze. Why? WHY? Why am I like this??? It's my crazy musician family!!!

My friend Ash asked for 10 goals I have for 2006. Just so I don't forget, here they are:
1) Finish the first draft of my book by my birthday, Feb. 19th
2) Get the final manuscript to my publisher by March 1st
3) Get a friggin set up here on SG
4) Get rid of most of my material possessions
5) Do not take people for granted
6) Be more ambitious with my freelance writing
7) Get a deal with a larger publisher
8) Coordinate the construction of a flaming mutant vehicle in time for burning man '06
9) Organize a collective camp for burning man '06
10) continue onward and upward!

Excellent. We should get together and brainstorm this. Clearly we have plenty of time to come up with something earthshattering, and I'm planning to get some more ink myself. You're getting Ash to shoot your set? You're halfway there; I love that girl. Keep in touch, and let me know the next SG event you're going to and we can have a huddle in the corner and plot ...
