I've been a busy little beaver 
as of late. I am in the midst of coordinating a HUGE project: developing a theme camp for Burning Man 2006 with a bunch of crazies from an arts foundation I'm a member of. My part of the camp will be known as Loca Bomberos (loosely translated: crazy firefighters). In addition to the camp, I'm also working on the creation of a flame shooting Mutant Vehicle (hereupon: MV).
Yes, yes, I know... only I would have that consuming my time (well, maybe trilobyte would too)... not my temp gig (although there's that), not illness (although I still have a cold), not my writing (still hammering away)... No, nothing like that. I'm undertaking making a vintage 1972 Pinzgauer (the one on the right):
into a caaaaah-raaaazy flame-shooting, propane-blasting, fatalistic-futuristic MV. I've found a metal work artist who has a big metal barn in MI and all the accoutrements to turn our vision into reality. I'm assembling a team of about 10 people to donate their time, efforts and dollars to the project. The arts foundation I'm part of will most likely will help fund the project. The final outcome should look something like this:
