Spent the entire weekend hanging out with the ex. Had a great time all around. I'm still moving in with my friend in January, but it looks like something may work itself out in the ex-arena. I know, you'll all say I'm crazy, but I've been with this guy for 20 years... since I was 10... when we lived in Alabama. Got married at 15. Yeeeeehaw! Just kiddin'.
I'm in a terrible mood today. Winter has settled in for good in Chicago. I hate the cold. Right now it's sleeting downtown where I am working a temp gig - accounting (blech!) - trying to make all my expenses before I move in January. Unfortunately, my book won't make me any money until it's out, which means I gotsta finish it pronto! Plus 2 articles too... But in the meantime, music makes me happy...

I was going to write that in the friends thread, but figured if one of us quoted that string of replies one more time, they'd tell us to get a room! Hmmm...
As for the weekend, I'm glad you had a great time. Better still, I'm glad tht things have gotten to a place where a great time over the course of a weekend is even possible - congrats!
