Ah, irony, the most sincere form of humour, and yet one of the most tragic things that one can experience. I had an ironic experience today, that brought back some memories from times past. Back when I used to play diablo, a long time ago tongue. Those memories aren't so important right now, the irony is in the choice of logic that was directed at me on another online game, perhaps a more pathetic one, but it requires less time and is sometimes mildly amusing. Its called kings of chaos.

So as I was saying, I was just going about my business doing my normal raids when a clan starts messaging me that I should stop attacking the membership of their clan. I disregard it and tell them to fuck off, naturally why should I care. They send me some more messages with threats and I don't mind it too much, then they tell me why they're doing it. Its not to protect the membership of their clan, but to stop people from farming [that being assaulting the same person numerous times costing them time and gold]. The irony is that they're attacking farming with farming. They've gone and contradicted the very logic in which they are using to attack me. Beautiful irony how I love thee.

Not that I think anyone really cares about this, its just a moment of beautiful irony. It did make me think up an interesting quote from the Patriot though.

"How you win the war is just as important as winning the war to the king." -General Corn Wallis, The Patriot

Might not be exactly that but its close enough I think wink.

Simple interpretations shouldn't be necessary but if you insist. It means that although war is gruesome, tiresome, and utterly bloody; it is better to lose a war than lose your honour. I only think the model knights followed such ideals, however, because I can't think of one history book where anyone actually followed that. With the exception of Sir William Marshall. But Sir William Marshall is a knight's knight.
