Saw the Wilco documentary "I am trying to break your heart" last night at the Dryden theatre (for those who don't know, it's part of the George Eastman house, http://www.eastman.org/, and they show awesome films both past and present.)

Today was the first snow of the season. Nov. 1. Just light stuff, but kinda crazy. It had a nice, surreal feel to it as I walked to my car after work in the dark. Like being in space . . .

I just got back from seeing the oddest movie I think I've ever seen . . . THE HAPPINESS OF THE KATAKURIS. I think I was the only one singing along when they told the audience to. It was a japanese horror movie musical. Amazing. Something to see, I swear to you. Happy Halloween!

It's gray today. The weekend was fun: good music, my ASH costume came together well, and a good friend was up all weekend, but all I wanted to do today was sleep. sheesh. Upstate does that to you, I guess.

So very amped. am putting together the pieces for a hot hot halloween costume: Ash from Army of Darkness. Been wanting to do it for a few years . . . it just finally came together. I found the coolest little toy chainsaw at Toys'r'us. It should come out well.

And to top it all, Bruce Campbell is talking at RIT tomorrow. I'm in heaven....
