~For my vanishing friend
Like dust
Your absent presence
The dust is comfort
Like life well lived
What once was valued
Now non-existent
Yes I still trace you
Touching your remnants
In melancholy
Although you warned me
Like dust
Worn by antiques
Afraid to clean them
To purge the value
Of reminiscence
From Russian lacquer
A silted snake path
Of fingers searching
For Braille thats buried
And speaks of meaning
Like dust
Upon my memory
