I have a whole stack of books to read, which hasn't happened in forever, I swear, unemployment is the best thing to ever happen to me.

There's:

Then we Came to the End by Joshua Ferris , a book about people getting laid off at a company, I think I'll enjoy that one.

The Average American Male by Chad Kultgen. I don't know anything about the book, it looked interesting and that's enough for me.

An Invisible Sign of my Own by Aimee Bender. I just finished her collection of short stories called The Girl in the Flammable Skirt which was all sorts of spectacular and I have high hopes for her novel.

Snuff by Chuck Palahniuk. I hate Chuck Palahniuk and I hate myself for buying his book, but it's about the world's largest gangbang told from the point of view of 3 of the gangbangers, so I have some hope for this one.

No One Belongs Here More Than You by Miranda July. I just watched You and Me and Everyone We Know by her, which she wrote, directed, and starred in and it was delightful and quirky, and I think her stories are going to go down the same path.

Personal Days by Ed Park. Another novel about people getting laid off, and they're both comedies, and I'll enjoy them immensely.

I also really want to sit down and finish This Isn't Dinner This is War! one of these days. Actually it would be nice to get back to my stories period. I miss them. I'm neglecting my babies.

Well there's the Lost finale tomorrow, The Fall on Friday, and Saturday and Sunday are all clear for a writing/reading bonanza.

Lastly, I'm proud of myself for using the word bonanza.

Good luck getting all that read, should be interesting even the one you don't care so much about. It was fun meeting you guys in chat.
