My desk has been in some serious need of clean-up/rearranging, so I moved everything around, and bought a desk lamp today ($6, Target).
First off, I love my iPod. Second, I love my iPod alarm clock. Then there's the pencil holder organizer thing next to it. Holds nail files, iPod earbuds, and an assortment of pens and pencils.
Newish speakers, with a subwoofer under the desk. I like to prop my feet up on it and listen to loud music.
Flatscreen monitor (Bought when a computer store was going out of business so only $50 brand new). The cigar box it sits on holds an assortment of pens, pencils, and paint pens that haven't been used in years. I don't think you can see it but there's a radioactive sign on the wall above the monitor, a relic from a past relationship (Or a metaphor for the relationship, discuss).
The desk is a vintage family hand me down. My grandmother had it, she gave it to my mother when my mother was a teenager, and then it got handed down to my sister...and then to me. There was a slight gender change, guess when it happened.
Also, spot the art doll striking a pose.
