So my friend who owes me money came through with some of it and gave me $200, so I treated myself to some new shoes (Okay, I desperately needed new shoes, my old ones were 2 and a half years old), and a nice sweater from Banana Republic. I forgot how much I like shopping.

I love days like today. I took Cassie, my dog, to Shelby Farms and played around. She was actually playing with the other dogs, usually she's terrified of them. Also it's nice to get some sun, and get my mind off of things for a while. It's a pleasant little diversion.

So I have today and tomorrow off, a little vacation for myself. Today is my day, do some laundry, clean things up around here, do some writing, drink some wine, just relax and enjoy myself. Tomorrow is still up in the air, some of my friends want me to go hang out with them, so I'll probably catch a movie or something.

Hopefully by the end of the day I'll have a new story finished and up here for your pleasure. I know you're excited, don't hide it.
