I know what you're wondering. You're wondering what I'm doing up at 4:30 in the morning. Well I'm trying to work on some of my stories, and when I start writing I lose track of time. I will gladly give up sleep for writing. I will also give up sleep for good company, and a few other things. I don't like sleep because I don't get anything done.
So now instead of having actually revised stories I now have dozens of pages with scribbles and things crossed out, notes written in the margins. Nothing like the good ol' revision process.
Also I couldn't help myself and I started a new story. I heard a story earlier today about little kids, and even being only four years old they still do the insanely cute/harmless thing where they ask their playmate to be their boyfriend/girlfriend, so one thing in my head lead to another, and now I'm writing a story about a man and a woman who meet because their children are pretend boyfriend/girlfriend playground pals. I thought I'd try my hand at something cute and lighthearted for once.
I do have a 4 day weekend (I have off on Friday and Saturday, I get to experience a real weekend for once!), so expect plenty of writing, and with any luck something might find its way onto here.
