After being single for long enough I want to get back into dating. I think it would be healthy, and it definitely beats staying at home feeling sorry for myself.
Now I know that getting a date is not hard, if you ask a girl to dinner at the very least she'll think "What the hell, a free dinner" but I have learned one thing.
It is impossible to talk to girls when you have a big nasty zit right on your right dimple, right next to your lip. It's big, it's ugly, and it's screaming, "Look at me, I'm unsightly!"
I was out to dinner with my best friend (Who just got engaged, we were celebrating), and I found our waitress to be attractive and lively, but I could not bring myself to say a single word to her because I was painfully aware that there's this insanely ugly blot on my face.
Please go away zit. Please.
Also, I am now officially the only person out of my circle of friends who is not engaged or married. I'm also single so they might have to kick me out of the club soon.
