I had a wonderful time at MAXCON! I am fully obsessed with learning how to airbrush and just ordered my first airbrush kit. I am so excited to get started. I worked with some truly amazing artists and made a lot of new friends. The theme this year was Wonderland! Even though we didn't place in the competition, I still feel like a winner! It was 4 days of art, creativity, fun, and shenanigans. I'm not gonna lie, standing still for the better part of 6 hours while being painted isn't as easy as it sounds, and at times can be tedious, but being able to bring art to life is 100% worth it! Everyone who participated had skills that were out of this world! I think my favorite night was the Gala though. I got to get dressed up in my fancy dress and dance the night away. I can't wait for next year! Maybe I'll even have enough experience by then to actually try my hand at painting.
