A friend posted this today on her Facebook page and when I saw it, I almost teared up. For years, I have struggled wth body dysmorphia, and even though my brain knows I am not overweight, I could never get my heart to catch on.
Last week when I shot my first Hopeful set, I was naked in vulnerable positions for several people in the room to see. And soon, my body will be on display for thousands to see.
I entered the SG world to help me overcome my issues but I never realized how powerful the transformation would be or how quickly it would happen.
My body isn't perfect, but it's pretty great, and it loves me.
May all of you women and men out there be kind to your bodies.
