So, today really sucked starting out. We were busy at work, but I kept getting tables of only one or two people. I ended up only making $28 and wanted to scream. I went home on my break to pack my things for my trip to Lex-Vegas tonight. As it turned out, there were no servers scheduled to work at 4, so I volunteered to do it. I showed up after rushing around on my 45 minute break, and made about $30 before I finally got cut. For the last two hours I was there, I only had one table. It sucked. I learned how to make a blue valum though. That was pretty cool.
So I made the two+ hour venture to Lexington starting at 7:30. It was fun, but long. Now I'm sitting in fixx's room watching Comedy Central and suddenly my day is so much better.
This weekend is going to be great. Tomorrow is nikonphoto80's birthday party! YAY!! I can't wait! The only question is, who will be the sober driver?!?! I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I'll try to talk fixx into bringing his camera so you all can see plenty of pictures.
Just so you all know, nothing too bad has happened yet. I paid $235 to fix my car and there was a crazy storm tonight, but nothing really bad has happened, so we're all good right now. Thank you all so much for your concern. I love you all and hope you're doing well!!
