Let's get religious.
I myself believe that all the different religions such as Christianity, Buddism etc, have all branched from the same higher being. i believe there is a greater power out there, whether is be God...
Or try this theory for example. It breaches on another topic of interest. Are there aliens out there? With this theory, God being an Alien, with future technologies and far higher intelligece, took over the mind of someone like Jesus Christ, to screw with the religions on earth. Or say before the birth of Christ. Moses, and the ten commandments, being brought to him by an alien. What then, will the after life be? Just like before we were born? Nothingness. Our souls die with us.
Not that i believe this theory, but those aliens would be funny guys.
