Oh man, I hate clothes shopping. It's deceiving at first, I go to the mall, see the shops all brightly lit up with the mannequins in the window, thinking how wonderful it is that for once I have money in my wallet and am able to buy something that's gonna make me look super awesome.
Then ONE., I can never find anything I actually like. And humiliatingly, TWO. I either don't fit anything properly or it makes me look horrendously fat. So I end up leaving having bought one item of jewellery and feeling like a hippopotamus who under no circumstances should ever be seen in public again. And eating cheesy pasta when I get home. FML, and I'm meant to be cutting out cheese.
All of Auckland is going to be in town this Friday, so I suppose I'm going along. Woo RWC.... Erm. Pretty sure none of you are even aware that New Zealand is hosting the Rugby World Cup and has gone completely and utterly mental about it. Even the poor piece of shit area where I live has little flags saying "The World Has Come to Play!". Yeah, maybe in other places, certainly not Highbury. And if they do, they better not be caught out past 12 or they'll be stabbed. Well maybe not. Still, it's a lil silly. We always make fools of ourselves whenever the world pays any attention, we think "FINALLY! We can show just how fantastic our little country really is!" and then we blow it somehow by being ourselves. It gets embarrassing after a while.
Anyway, I'm feeling a bit shite, but hoping to feel back to normal tomorrow, I have been feeling better. 5 days smoke free and I'm going strong. Just gotta leave the damn cheese alone now.

Not yet, but I will be drinking for the next three nights so I'll be thoroughly tested. I'm quite confident. Had a dream I had a cigarette and it was awful! Felt so terrible for having put my efforts to waste, then I woke up and realised I hadn't, which was pretty cool. It's good to know how bad I'd feel if I DID give in. Anyway, wish me luck!
