It's a pretty nice purple

I'm still trying to adjust. After living pretty much my whole life in Australia and thinking cold was about 5c it's going to take a couple of years to adjust. I keep seeing these girls in the street in short skirts with no jacket and am amazed that their limbs havent dropped off from frostbite

The snow is here early this year and they've said it'll continue until Christmas and maybe beyond so everyone is in a panic here. No one ever seems prepared, which is silly because we are in northern Europe so you'd think the councils would be prepared for the snow. But hardly any streets are ploughed or gritted and it's mayhem out there - granted it is earlier and heavier than usual but still...

I just really hope I can find something cute and warm tomorrow night when I go out. If not I'll be stocking up on cardigans and sweaters

Those things are great. Growing up we had a pot belly stove and then a big wood heater. They were awesome, kept the whole house warm and dad would put orange peel on top which would make the house smell amazing.

I want a wood heater when we get our own place.
