I have always loved music ever since I was a little girl, and I grew up loving the stuff my dad loved in high school, but when I was 12 he renounced everything and became a born again christian and now says he regrets ever exposing me to Elton John, CCR, Ac/Dc, Foreigner, The Cure and shit tons of other awesome stuff.

So I hold the vigil for him, for everything he grew ashamed of loving, I love wholeheartedly. I still remember being 5 years old and my dad speeding down the road, blaring Elton Johns' 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' and telling me all the stories about all the concerts he went to back in the day with my mother, it was one of the happiest times of my life.
