I thought I'd share with you,where I came up with DragonGirl. Mostly cause I'm weird and want to tell this story.
When I was a little bit my grandpa whose from china use too tell me this story. Of course it's made up but it always seemed to keep me intrigued. A few thousand years ago in china. There lived a young girl named Yoshimita. She grew up in a poor village with her mother.She was quite shy and a loner. She always dreamed of haveing just one true friend. One day as she was walking home she stumbled upon an old cottage,curious she went up and knocked on the door. An old woman answered. "what do you want child,I'm a busy old woman,I have no time for children." The old woman slammed the door. The girl walked away. She kept visiting this old woman for days. Till one day she knocked but there was no answer. She pushed the door slightly open and the old woman was not there. The door suddenly swung open and the old woman stood before the girl. "why child how blessed I am to see you,cause of you I had the courage to venture outside. For that I will grant you one wish. what will it be?" The girl slowly spoke "oh I wish for a friend,a loyal one." The old woman cackeled then spoke" dear child you wish for a friend and so I shall grant it." the old woman spoke a few words and a puff of smoke filled the room. When the smoke cleared there sitting on the floor was a little dragon. Well the little girl was extremely happy. From that day on the little girl was never alone again. People in her village started to call her DraagonGirl. The old woman in the cottage was never seen again after that day.
Yeah it's not a great story but I was little and it was good to me. Of course I translated it into words everybody can understand. I always loved that story.
