I always ask myself this question while exploring the concept of what a true SG is. In my mind, i view it as a liberating woman who is unashamed of her own true (nude) self. But i agree with you, the concept is slowly being shaped into something that may eventually harm the self-esteem of lots of girls.

I think that the whole Suicide Girl concept still lives on, despite the whole "going pink"/"front page" stuff. Everyone can still put together albums and have their own set of fans. You don't have to buy into getting that suicidegirl badge to be part of it. I also think that a lot of the reason why sets get chosen is not so much about prettiness or waifishness, and more to do with the quality of the photography, but people will be people, and it's hard not to think it's something to do with you personally, or your body, or whatever, rather than things like colour range or composition. Just go look in MR right now - in the last 10 sets added the one that stands out above all the others is Wendy's Lovebird set. Now, she's not waifish by any stretch of the imagination, and I'm sure that she wouldn't come top in a standard prettiness competition against some of the others, but the photography and composition is fantastic so she looks head-and-shoulders better than the rest. Jeez, even the seat cover colour goes with her tattoo colours!!
I'm not sure what a "true" Suicide Girl is, but I'm gonna do my thing for promoting self-esteem and say that, from the little I've known of you, you are gorgeous and sexy and have all the independant qualities of a real suicide girl.

I found myself in the same situation as you last night. I like to sometimes read myself to sleep and found that i could not stay focused on a page and eventually just put the book away to stare at the ceiling. It sounds strange but when i can't concentrate, i daydream or try to reach back into my mind. Maybe there's something you forgot to do and just can't remember, what.

I woke up this morning with a beautiful boy sleeping on my bosom---and his cat was batting at my nipple ring. It was cute though. I'm so glad he's finally home! Though, I've been reduced to a giggling school girl for the time being....
