i got me a new apartment and a new couch and im startin over, baby.

to be honest, it's kind of depressing, in a liberating way. it's weird to have half my stuff in one place, and half in another. transition. it's a strange feeling. i try to focus on the positive, but gosh darn it, it sure is lonely. they say you cant be lonely if you like the person you're alone with. well, i'm working on that. being unsure of myself is a weird feeling, too. all kinds of growth. growing pains. it's all good.

i have a lot to be grateful for, so i try to stay focused on that. job. good friends. good family. basics like food and shelter and plentiful beer. could be so, so much worse. but hanging onto that doesn't alway seem to fix the heartache. but, as they say, this too shall pass.

um um um. what else.

i think im gonna start devoting an hour of each night to doing marianne williamson's new course. for some reason, it resonates with me. pretty atypical, but im not goin gto question it, i'm just going to go with it.

im itching for some new tattoos, but with the next few months being questionable, that will have to wait. i dont even really know what i want, but it's the comfort and excitement that i'm craving.

been drinking and smoking way too much. which is relative, but for me it seems like too much. it's been fun and a nice distraction, though.
