tomorrow is my 26th bday, and just as usual, i have nothing planned. i like it this way. i like being home, eating dinner, and enjoying the company of family. i dont like making a big deal of my bday. i requested the day off, but decided that im going to go in anyways. i have a lot of work to do, and thanksgiving weekend gave me like 5 days off so im pretty ready to go in and get some stuff done.

ive decided i need some new friends. ones that live in san diego or the surrounding area. i dont really have anyone to hang out with. ever. really. except for my bff and coworker and neighbor but she is busy with her kids and puppies so i have all of this extra free time. i hang out with kyle like every day, and i enjoy it, but i want some girl friends. or some friends with similar interests. yup. which begs the question - how does one make friends? that makes me sound like a nerd....lol

i tried to have a puppy but a few days in cried over luna again and just couldnt make the committment i thought i could. luckily, my next door neighbor was more than happy to give little junebug (now to be renamed holly) a very very loving, fabulous home. she was a christmas gift to her daughter whos wanted a small pup for ages and who lives in the house and they already have some pets and the lady is home all the time, and has a daycare, so i know the puppy will get lots of love anf grow up kinda like luna did. with lots of play time and affection and attention. they are a good family, im happy for everyone. its funny, cause she never felt right, not like 'my dog' - and now i know that she came through me to the person she was meant to be with. its nice how that happens.

ps: i still want new friends. anyone in san diego?
