I'm glad that it's Sunday and there is no work tomorrow.

That means another glorious morning of running and not rushing to work! Fanatic? Yeah, I think so. wink

I no longer do what I want. I'm letting music decide my fate for me. That's all i've been doing this weekend. Discovering new and old bands. Some i've just met, others have been brought back up from the back burner. Music feeds this energy to me.

With that said, if you had to choose, being deaf or being blind, which would you choose? Now you know what they say, lose a scense gain one. And what that, what would happen if a blind person took LSD?

I've been a bit of a home body. I haven't been feeling like going out much.

Don't get me wrong. I still do my daily tasks. It's not an anxiety issue. I guess nothing has interested me to make me want to go out and hang. I want to hang now. At this moment. There is always tomorrow.

I have nothing to tie in with this song. I just simply love it and want to show some love

Oh, I was in a music store that I go into quite often. I've gotten to know the staff, one Kat in particular. I call him Steve, though I don't know his real name. Anyway. Steve was talking about all the stupid "kids" coming in. We get tour buses in our area alot. Just as he was saying that, these dirty hippie looking kids, oh by kids I mean 19-22, come into the shop. Steve and I both glare at each other and laugh. They are loud, look like they crawled out of 1992, 1994-95, 1998 and 2000! Yes, that's how bad it was. So, the one kid has an arm full of those rubber bracelets like the yellow live ones from Lance Armstrong. He asks for one that says Carnivore on it. He tells us how cool that one is and how he's been looking for it. He's standing next to me, asking Steve. I look at him and asks if he eats babies. He looked a bit shocked and didn't answer. I again ask him. He say's no and asks why? I tell him he should to prove he's a true carnivore and worthy of wearing that bracelet. He quickly get's his friends and they leave. What's the point Glovey? The point is, I don't miss retail.

Morning buddy!

I slept pretty well last night and I think I was out just about the time my head touched the pillow!

I hope you at least got to see a flash or 2 and hear a couple of good rumbles in that 20 minutes last night. They have more predicted for us this week. I wouldn't mind having the thunder and lighting, but were getting a bit soggy and need to dry out.....if the rain could hold off for a week or so, it would suit me just fine. You can always make a trip back to the mid-west, if you get jonesing to badly for a good old fashioned T-storm. Actually, I hear the Dakotas are getting or are forecast to get some late season snow flurries......now that's kinda weird!

Today is going to be pretty quiet around here. Mom tried walking without me being there to steady her and took a fall on Friday. I think she fractured a rib and it's really hurting her this morning. We won't be getting out to the cemetery like we had planned.

Hope you have a great last day of "nothing"!

Wow....those are great desitnations! Yep, I can picture you on a big sail boat.....Captain's hat jauntily slanted to one side and sea wind and salt spray in your face! I'd add one place to your list....a small town in Switzerland, where my Mom's side of the family is from. They speak the German there, although it's their own variation of it. I've spent a few weeks there during all 4 seasons, at various times over the last 30 years......it's like living in one of those postcards that make you go Ooooooooo, Ahhhhhhh. I suppose living there full time would be a little different and probably get a little routine, but visiting for awhile is great.

You have good taste....I liked all the places you've picked out! Someday, I'd still like to visit Australia and New Zealand, get back to Scotland for an extended visit to look around and learn some more. Maybe even throw in a tropical island or 2 while I'm at it.......just for fun! biggrin

Yeah, I think we both were typing at the same time on our last posts.....kinda like slapping each other "tag" at the same time.
