So mAllenfoto and I were snugglin' on the couch last night, flipping through the t.v. when we came across Headbangers Ball. I have never really been into Metal Bands before, and don't get me wrong, it's not my rant. But I remeber back in the day when it was on, it was you know, heavy metal. Now it sounds like someone ate a microphone and is reguritating it. It all sounds the same. The have the same grrrr.... to every song, the music itself, well you can't follow it. But this is not my rant. My rant is this
This guy has no fucking talent at all. Mally and i were laughing our asses off at his singing. For those of you that have not had the pleasure of hearing this band, the singer wears an awful outfit. And his singing sounds like a chicken getting his head cut off. It's a high pitched squeal, rant, scream. When has this become heavy metal? I guess since i have never been into that type of music, it surprises me that's its considered heavy metal. It fucking sucks! There I said it.
I have a question for anyone out there that like's Cradle of Filth. Why should people listen and enjoy them? What are they bringing that is different from all the other repetitive "heavy metal" bands?
If anyone wants a good laugh, watch their video. And remeber, the name tells it all. Filth! And if you are a friend that likes this band, sorry if I offened you! I still love you, just not your music.

i love bombastic heavy/death/goth metal for it's pure intrinsic theatricism (hah, that's probably not even a word, is is??)........um, i'm a sucker for lots of heavy metal
