I went into the record store I sorta work for to look for Fugazi records today. I picked up the new Beck and I figured I'd get 1 more, but the Fugazi section was vast. There were 8-10 CDs in there. At this point I realized I was in over my head. I need an experienced opinion here for future reference. Which album do you think would be good to start with?

you know, i was just talking about how ive lost interest in fugazi the other day. i suppose that's because i played them out in high school...maybe i should give them another chance.

Yeah live five miles east of the city of Frederick. There are some good little places to go and hang out at. Usually have a pretty good time up there. If not we all go down to Ellicott City...the old downtown section and hang. I moved out here in 1998, but moved to Maryland in 1997. It is still hard to believe that eight years have passed me by!! This area really is a great place to live. I am still out away from the really crowded part of the area, but still close enough to be anywhere in no time! Plus the people are a lot nicer out here too. You should come on up and check it out up here. Never know you might like it. How long have you lived out here? I see you are from North Dakota. Bet that is a lot like me being from Wisconsin(I grew up in a town of 4200. Highschool class was 85 kids).

I like chips and salsa, but whenever I have it, I lose track of everything and then suddenly I've been snacking on it for 20 minutes!!!

Love hockey! I'm going to an AHL game on Sunday... I know it's not the same but it's the closest thing to the NHL that there is now. Also it's a chance for Buffalo's minor league team to play in front of 18,000 instead of 3,000 as the game will probably sell out.

I've heard some songs from Fugazi's 13 songs this past year and thought it was very good. For some reason, I didn't dig on them too much growing up. I think I was into my hip-hop phase back then when they were at their peak. It's funny too because I loved Ian Mackaye in Minor Threat. They were my favorite punk band in the mid 80s along with the Clash, Replacements (punk lite), and the Dead Milkmen. Yes, I've had many phases.

I just noticed to the left that you have Butter 08 among your favorite bands. I love Butter 08. I used to spin them in my college DJ days. I think they only made that one record. I reckon so since they were all from other bands. Somewhat often I still pop on Butter of 69 and 9mm... fine music.

Kentucky Fried Movie.....it is really funny.
