Vitamine and i are coming to visit. not for a while, but as soon as i am in NY. We decided tonight a road trip is in order!

I do have to learn how to say no! but i am but a consumer whore!

i have a chow/collie mix and a latvian american. they're both furry, but only one of them eats dog food. well, most of the time.

I'm probably gonna be here in Richmond for a while. I lived up in DC for about a year before I came down here. I've got a decent job and I'm fairly content here. It's hella cheaper than living up in NoVa for sure. I dunno...it's comfortable here.

hey where ya been?

thanks. we parted ways some time ago, not on the best of terms. I haven't played bass, or much guitar since except for a few 4 track experiments. kinda been checking out different areas of existence. bought some new guitar strings, though!

you seem to be attracting quite a few bass players to your page...

I want to start playing bass again. it's the most visceral & satisfying instrument to play. like you're playing guitar, keyboards and drums at the same time. stuff doesn't rock without it. I hate it when, like in my last band, the main songwriter declares it a 'guitar band' as an excuse for mixing the bass down. next band will have 2 basses, a drummer and --maybe-- a guitarist wearing a ball&gag + perhaps ankle-cuffed to his amp, which will be considerably less powerful than the 190watt monstrosity the 'frontman' used to use.
I love playing in trios, but have problems with singers, esp. guitarists who fancy themselves singers. am I bitter. no...sour, actually. jokes.
all the playing in all the bands, last one included was valuable experience. I want to perform again, some day. Could be a lead buitarist and make noise --but you can make just as much noise that's just as cool with a bass & riding feedback to a beat was effin awesome. (used to swear a lot, now save it for rants & spews).

enough about me. I trust your band experience is proving an enjoyable one, no? art for arts sake. not like the nineties when everyone was trying to be the next nirvana. --I promise to be less cynical hereon, just need to call my mom's all.
