OK, you might not want to hear this, but I do have a Masters in Psych, and ECT is not completely without basis. It was originally a somewhat barbaric idea, but the fact remains that for some people who are otherwise nonresponsive, it can be effective as a last-ditch solution. It's the psychiatric equivalent of kicking a machine that's not working -- sometimes, for whatever reason, it works.

I will be venturing to the Govinda Gallery tonight. mAllenfoto 's friend has an exhibit there so we are supporting the local photographers. He is a very nice and talented man. Vinyle and T-Bone are going as well. After that, we will be eating at yummy Paolos. It's cozy there. I like cozy places.

Mom had a particularly tough day yesterday...she is taking physical therapy and it just completely wears her out...but it's helping her. The hardest part of taking care of her, is knowing how active, on the go and hard working she was for all her life until a couple of years ago, when all this hit her. It's tough to see her this way.....struggling so much to stay mobile.
But thanks for picking up my spirits with such a nice compliment.
