I haven't posted any pics of the new piercings yet b/c I still have a black eye from the anti-eyebrow piercing...and well, it looks fucking awful. So maybe tomorrow....?
This week has been pretty tiring. I worked a double on Tuesday (which was very profitable, so I'm happy
)...for lunch I worked with one person who has absolutely no experience other than her training (it was just the two of us and we were slammed) so that was not too fun. I think she's actually going to get fired. And for dinner I worked with the one server that ever single person (front AND back of the house) dislikes....so that was fun too. when we first got in, she asked me if I wanted to pool our tips for the night....um no. i wound up making nearly three times as much as her, i would have been pissed.
all in all though, the week has been good so far.
tonight i have plans to drink more wine than i probably should with a friend of mine...maybe we'll catch a movie. any suggestions? i heard that the DaVinci Code and XMen 3 were both huge disappointments.
i'm not exactly sure why i'm awake so early on my day off, especially since i couldn't really sleep last night. thats been the story all week...i wish something would just knock me out for eight hours. i've probably only had that much sleep since monday. the strange thing is...i'm not tired. soo weird. oh well.
i might head "downtown" today and finally pick up that Flaming Lips cd that i procrastinated like crazy on. that an the Racounteurs. i've heard it's good. we'll see. i was also thinking of selling all of the dvds i never watch. whats the point of letting them take up space on my shelf?
ill be working the Arctic Monkeys concert for Filter Magazine this weekend...i'm promoting the band, We Are Scientists. so if anyone is in/close to Norfolk, VA this sunday....check'em out at the Norva.
