Alright, so I have some venting to do. For those that will read this, be fore warned...there will be vulgar language.
Oh and if there is misspelled stuff, grammar errors or anything of that manner, just dont care right now so deal
So, I had today off and was called in for a meeting because they wanted to tell us (Best Buy employees) that there was a huge restructuring going on company wide. Well...I happen to be one of those that got cut... my position that is. Our department was over 3 full timers and well... I was the one that had the lest amount of time invested in Best Buy (3&1/2 years) so I was the one to go. Those fucking fucks!
Ok, so the store manager was talking to me that they are opening a new store in Beaufort on june 5th (this is an hour commute one way from where I live) and because it is a new store it wasnt effected by the restructure because they are not fully staffed yet. Now, part of me doesn't even want to take the fucking effort to go there because A) the way I just got fucked w/o theKY.. B) it's a long drive to commute. Now I DID (prior to today) love working for BB.... it's the longest job ive ever had, but part of me is considering going to a different company and work for them because of how I just got fucked. Many of my fellow employess agree with me that its bullshit that I got seperated from the company because I busted my fucking ass for them! I have had three reviews done there (one each year) which the grading scale is 1.0 to a 4.5. Now, in my three reviews I have gotten a 3.4, 3.7 and a 4.0 (all are classed as exceeds expetations) Now what does this tell me?? BB doesn't give a fuck about their GOOD employees! Once again, those fucking fucks. There are MANY others that dont live up to work expectations they could have gotten rid of.
Now... one thing I can say is BB is paying me until May 5th (today was considered my last day of work) and giving me severence pay after may 5th (which is one weeks pay for each full year I have worked there, hence.. 3 more weeks pay) so they are paying me untill May 28th. Either way my fucking brain is fried... my stomach hurts and damnit I want a stiff fucking drink right now.
Yay to my FRIENDS at best buy that are taking me out friday night to the strip club and get me drunk!!!!
