Bahhh....Had my first official school classes start today for the term. I think I'll be busy (6 classes!) but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Come May 7th, I should finally get my life back...temporarily, at least.
Planning on taking a cruise in the May/June timeframe as a graduation present to myself (hopefully the boy will be joining), but I haven't found any good deals yet. I shall resist. May/June is also the time that my lease is up on my apartment - I think I will have some big decisions to make at this time
I know I talk about school a lot, but it really has dominated my life for the last year or so. It's an accomplishment for me, definitely something that I didn't think would ever get here. Thanks to the support of my boss, friends and family, I was able to do it. Sometimes I don't appreciate the people that I love enough...hopefully this will change and we will all be less busy. I seem to let the "busy" excuse get the better of me, but I know its something I need to work on. I'm horrible at calling people, but my phone isn't exactly ringing off the hook either
I had lunch on Thursday night with two of my girlfriends that I've known since 2nd grade....I hadn't seen them since around Halloween and it was so nice to catch up. They are the kind of people that you can pick up where you left off at, no matter how long its been. It's reassuring to be around them because there are no labels or expectations. I don't have to have my gameface on or do anything to impress them, just be myself.
Last night the boy came over (without dog) and I cooked a mean stir fry. WTF is happening to me? I was dangling the domestication in front of him...it's a good thing that I've made it clear that this isn't something he should be expecting on a regular basis
But it was a very good evening and nice to spend the time at my place for a change. Tonight, whenever I decide to get my lazy butt moving, we will probably rent some movies or catch a matinee tomorrow afternoon. I'm taking my laundry over - I'll just sneak it in when he isn't looking 
Ok, now I'm rambling. This is a lot longer than I had anticipated. I hope I haven't bored you all to tears.

After reading that the thing that sticks in my head most is..stir-fry! Sounds like things are progressing well..yoiur phrase dangling the domestication in front of him made me laugh.
