Well, I have good news. I can't have any big animals at my apartment so I bought fish and a chinchilla. My chinchilla is potty trained to an extent, meaning he knows he can only pee in his litter box. Chinchillas don't smell and they don't need alot of of care. I give mine a ducst bath every other day or so and feed/water him every 2 days. The only thing you gotta do is make sure you play with it and spend time with it. Mine is almost 100% cool with me and loves to play on me.
