just had the best weekend ever. S bought 2 sets of sheets, a duvet cover, all of 400 count. i do not want to sleep in a paper bag, and am, thankfully, not. next we went to the mall and he bought more stuff for his new place. he took me for dinner and got me tipsy. he went to work at the bar, and i met with friends and ended up very tipsy. he gave me a key so i walked home and warmed his bed. next morning we ate at the pancake house, which is at the forks market (which is on the river), while sitting on their patio to enjoy the gorgeous prairie summer. we dawdled around the market and went for a nature walk. the rest of the day was spent making appearences at friends' houses, as many of them were having bbq's.

while we were busy enjoying each others company my selfish ex called and texted. he wants to get together and talk. seems to think i have time to be friends with him or something. blech. who needs you? you manipulative liar, im really really happy now so go away [/overyou]

tomorrow S and i, with friends, will be patio-ing it all canada day. at a pub at the forks market, again. at this moment i am so in love with life it almost nauseates me. i said hello to a finch in a treebranch on my walk to the gym this afternoon. i saw a beetle stuck on its back so i helped it get right side up. one of the best things about a prairie summer is the riduculous amount of bunnies that are everywhere. i want to keep them all.

ladyexxa you need to finish up those cds and send out the care package. i was homesick part of sunday. i was craving grama's pie, mums sarcasm & hugs, and dads...um...dad. but that snit you mentioned would have been entertaining. while at breakfast with S i was wishing you could of been there with us to enjoy the day and people watch. *lovelove*
