Youth Wasted away by Bordom,
Try this,
Travis awoke to the sound of heavy rain pounding on a sky light window in the dead cold abyss of night. He lay there for a moment just listening to the soothing sound and then came to wonder how he had ended up laying here on a sofa in a room that looked strangely familiar. He listened for a moment there was no sound. Nothing not even the sound of a car passing. Again he came back to how he had got here, Travis couldnt seem to remember. Do I live here? How did I get in? he thought yet he drew a blank on these and many other questions racing through his already confused mind. He sat up on the brink of panic, yet Travis felt strangely comfortable here. He paced slowly to the window to open the sky light window to see where he was. Maybe I had been out on the town and got very drunk and came home. Maybe, but that didnt explain the lack of memory or seeming amnesia that had set in he mumbled to him self quietly. Travis reached for the handle, pulled it upward and flung the window open. The streets were completely dead. He was in a house in a residential area; there was a convenient store at the top of the road but there was no one. Travis had his attention was drawn to the street lamps, and the lack of light. Surely there should be some sort of light or a passing car, wondering what the time was Travis looked at his wrist without a second thought it was like a reflex action. There He found a watch with the hands glowing, it was 11:22pm. His attention was drawn back to the window; He saw movement Travis was sure of it. Why was he so desperate to find other people, he wasnt sure but before the could decide what to do he shouted HELLLLLOOOO!
As soon as the first bit of sound left his mouth, suddenly a head in the distance shot up as if a beast had just heard its prey. The figure in the distance stood rigid staring at Travis, he stood still not knowing if he had been seen. The figure still did not move, its piercing stare coming from what Travis though to be blood red eyes, all he could make out was the silhouette it looked like some sort of monster. The beast turned away as if it had heard another sound, Travis took the opportunity to get down behind the wall bellow the window, and he quickly pulled the window too and closed it with the handle quietly as if his life depended on it. He had come to regret his impulsive actions; he knew something was wrong those werent normal people. Now all he could do was wait too see if these monsters came for him, and hope he would be woken up from this hellish nightmare.
