Time for another attempt at making a blog. I had already made a long blog with a bunch of stuff but couldn't put the pictures in the right places. So maybe I should just blog short blogs regularly instead of on super duper long twice a year :P
So summer came and went away even though there wasn't really much of a summer this year. It rained constantly and almost no sunny days and the few we got I missed because of work. But maybe thats alright since I was working anyways inside the whole summer.
I got to meet two lovely suicidegirls in Reykjavik while they were visiting Iceland. I didn't get to spend as much time with them as I would have liked but thats the way it is sometimes.
I shot a few portraits of Laurah and her boyfriend in august that I still need to finish... Oooops
And Apory shots some portraits of me that I really like. I want to post them all but here are a few favourites :)
I lost one of my cats who got ran over by a car. At first I thought he was lost and was looking for him and asking in some groups of lost pets online where I got a message from a person who thougt the timing of my cat getting lost fitted the same time a cab driver she knew ran over a cat close to my home and turned out it was my cat. I got a description of how it all happened and it was all so awful. But at least I am happy to know that the lady stayed with him as he was dying and called the police so I eventually found out what happened instead of keeping looking for him and waiting for him to hopefully come back home.
It broke my heart and I miss him so much. He was born in my bed and I had such a strong bond with him.
But now I am just happy I have my other two cats still.
In other less serious news I cut my hair a few months ago. I do miss my long hair but I did have to cut off my damaged ends. But I also do like the new look though its a lot and I mean
A LOT harder to tame in the mornings when I get up.
I crimped, crumped? my hair the other day which was kinda cool but also kinda funny :P
The fall came so quickly and it has already snowed a few times. I'm back at photography school so I have been busy with that and teaching pole and there are only 2 weeks left of school before I graduate! Time goes by sooo quickly and once again I have no idea what to do with myself after december. And I can't stand not knowing what I will do. I went back to my old job during the summer and it made me remember why I quit so I hope I will not go work there again or anything as boring as that.
The thing that I am the most excited about lately is that I was invited to join the Icelandic Circus :D I had wanted to be in a circus for a long time and it is just so awesome to be asked to join them. So lately I have been training on the lyra, trapeze, silks and doing some hoola hooping and I really enjoy it and am looking forward to perform with them for my first time. What is even more exciting is that soon the circus will have the first circus tent in history of circus in iceland and I will be travelling around the country with them next summer. Yay!
