Oh my fucking god.
What a disaster.
If you're not in the know of the weather which took place at download festival this weekend, check this out ....fucking river
Whilst this was happening I was getting soaked in the main area. I had had a shower and paid £4 to blow dry my hair that morning.... So wasn't happy when it started to rain! Look how clean I look! 😂 All of that only to end up looking like a drowned rat!
Anyway, back to the fucking river in the campsite. My tent was at the top of this. As you can imagine, a tent ain't gonna stand a chance. All my belongings which where in my tent were water logged and pretty much ruined. Had no sleeping bag and it was absolutely soaked with water along with my clothes and makeup (which I'm currently trying to save)
I had to visit the welfare tent after doing an all nighter as I worked out what the fuck I was meant to do, got told to share a tent with a mate or go home.
So I travelled 6 hours on a train back to Brighton, missed 2 days worth of bands and now have the early stages of trench foot (it ain't fun and really fucking hurts).
I am Definetely going in a hotel next time.
