Okay so I have a Windows Nokia Lumia 900 which has lasted me over 2 years. In fact it's nicknamed the stormtrooper because of how long it lasts (not even kidding). Well after about 2 years of continuous use it has started glitching and no longer works at peak efficiency. In fact I can no longer receive my emails on the thing. So I got a replacement Lumia 900 and booted it up (it's brand new factory sealed). Well here's the kicker and why I fucking hate phone companies. As soon as you boot it up and log in it automatically updates and you can't not update it, the update is mandatory. Well as soon as it updates the phone ceases to work. It won't let me sign in, download apps, save pictures, etc. The only thing it lets me do is call people, it's basically a phone from the 1970's. Before the update the phone works decently but as soon as it updates, boom phone becomes a glorified paper weight. I didn't think Windows did the same thing Apple does with their phones to force you to upgrade but I guess I was wrong.
