today was actually a really fantastic day. So I went hiking in our local national park with a few friends and was able to hike to the waterfall which only appears around once a year. In the park there is this waterfall that is a bit of a rough climb (the bullwhip came in handy while helping some people up the cliff) and it only appears around this time of year after it rains. You're only able to glimpse it at this time of year because during the winter it is far to cold to climb up and during the summer the waterfall is dry. Many people take showers at the falls and occasionally some tadpoles call the pools home. Then I climbed down and went to a couple of the archaeological sites that we have up there. After a good 4 hours of hiking I made it down to this old ghost town for some dinner and much needed rest in their old saloon (which has been there for years) and then made it home. Today was a fantastic and really great day. :)
