So for years when I was a teenager I was all about the 20's, 30's, and 40's. I mean I dressed 30's and I used to read nothing but James Ellroy and stuff like L.A. Confidential (which ironically is an Ellroy novel). Well for some reason when I hit around 17 or so I kept feeling the pressure of society to look a certain way and I got out of listening to Glenn Miller and BBVD (big bad voodoo daddy). Well after watching some Indiana Jones I realized how fucking cool the 20's and 30's were. I'm sitting here now looking at great sets from girls like Maud and other hopefuls with that retro feel. Man retro was cool I have no idea why I ever got out of that. Time to dust off the phonograph and my fedora. :P
