I am so happy because I managed to buy my Captain's Green Shirt from Star Trek and also the Phaser!!!! It turns out phasers are pretty darn expensive though, the TOS (the original series) phaser was 30 bucks around the same price as the shirt. So the reason i've been so excited and getting ready to cosplay Kirk is because of something Vegas is doing for the 50th Anniversary Of Star Trek. Next month for the 5oth anniversary there is a concert called The Ultimate Voyage which will span every single era of Star Trek from TOS - Enterprise and will include a live philharmonic symphony orchestra that will play the soundtrack while we watch clips on a massive football sized screen. Cosplay is actually encouraged and i've been pretty excited to cosplay Kirk since a lot of people have told me I should and I kept ignoring them lol.
