So I went out to a park tonight at about 1am an hour ago to hunt for some of the more rare pokemon. Well when I arrived I expected to see no one and there were over a hundred people there playing. A massive group of about 50 people had set up a campsite (literally!!!!) in the middle of the park by some Pokestops and...

So I apologize for not blogging in awhile. I am very active on SG looking at sets and on groups and such but not in blogging. Truth is i've been really upset about work and my job. I love working and I adore I mean adore my job but it seems my boss just doesn't like anyone at the job. She literally hates everybody who...

Okay so I know these rumors pop up like every 3 or 4 years but this one seems to have a lot more validity to it. So Comic Con International better known as San Diego Comic Con might be moving here to Las Vegas in the next 2 years or so. Apparently Comic Con is not too happy with San Diego because not only is...

I wouldn't complain if it moved. I drove 160 miles round trip three days in a row because I couldn't get a reasonable hotel anywhere near the convention center. I don't think Anaheim could contain CCI. They don't have the open space that San Diego has for all the outside vendors which is a nice way to take a break from the insanity. Vegas might be a good change since the whole area is so workable but I wonder how the whole mix of "walking with alcohol" would work out...

Well I talked to a few friend who are a bit cynical when it comes to it moving down here. The thing is Comic Con International likes Vegas as a possible move however something always comes up to where they end up staying. It's like that one person who makes a really grand New Year's Resolution every year but never ever sticks to it ever. Comic Con doesn't like San Diego at all because they simply don't have the hotel space to take the literal thousands of people who show up, however Vegas does. Now the problem my friends see is the strip itself. They personally believe that if Comic Con were to move here to Vegas then the strip would have to close down to traffic and my friends don't see that happening (personally if they are making millions off Comic Con the city will close the strip no problem).  Second issue is with the outside portion of Comic Con. Last year Ubisoft set up a massive Assassin's Creed Obstacle Course to run and they also did one the year before. If CC moves here they may not be able to have as big of an outside portion as they do in San Diego. I'm an optimist though and personally I feel that Comic Con is serious about Vegas this time. They really don't like San Diego and I honestly think we are closer to getting Comic Con here than we've ever been in the years past. However it will still be an issue for locals to get tickets. I won't have to pay for hotel stays but I will still have to figure out a way to nab down a ticket. @soraleia

Okay so I actually am going back on a lot of shit that I said about this film. Originally I wasn't going to see it because of how bad the trailers were. I was so excited when this was first announced because of the all female team. I was stoked to see a Ghostbusters with an all female cast, that excitement faded after the trailers....

@kyloren_sith definitely!! I'm kind of intrigued by the all female cast!

Just don't go in expecting the original and you'll be fine. The original wasn't really a comedy it was an action movie with comedic elements. The new one is a comedy through and through with some action. It's nothing like the original but it's good on it's own. I personally LOVED it and i've been a Ghostbusters fan for years. I'm working on purchasing an Ecto-1.  @chelseadager

Being a geek I have many and I mean many favorite fictional characters but none of them are as close to me as a person as Captain Malcolm Reynolds from Firefly/Serenity. I actually got into Firefly really late and I was one of the rare people who saw Serenity first rather than Firefly. I was actually sick one day back in high school and my

lol OMG RIGHT!!!! SO MANY FIREFLY REFERENCES WILL BE IN STAR WARS!!!!!! I don't think it's true though sadly :( as of right now the VIII is being directed by the guy who did Looper and VIIII is being directed by the guy who did Jurassic World. It would be so freaking amazing if those names were false and it was actually Joss Whedon directing! :D @VANP  Fingers Crossed!!!!

Okay so you can only do this with older people above 30 because for some reason younger people get it. So when you're in an elevator have the two older people ask what floor you're going to. Then when they ask just look straight into their eyes very seriously and make up a floor that doesn't exist. Like if the building has 3 floors ask...
