Hi everybody!!!
Ok so it's been a month since I updated this thing hehe
I've wanted to and stuff but just lose the will to do it by the time I get home from work
So I am doing it FROM work... and speaking of work... Last Friday we all got called up to the boardroom for a 'meeting' where we were informed that we were all getting our wages cut by one day/week! That works out to something like $460 a pay cheque that I will be losing!! Merry Christmas to me!
We were informed that this is a temporary thing that should only last 3 months or so due to no incoming billing until the next quarter and that we would be compensated for the wages lost (I would love that in writing) and there are lots of opportunities and projects coming down the pipe...yada yada... they are extremely happy with the 'team' we have assembled and really don't want to lose any of us so they are asking us to make this sacrifice for the 'team'. Which I have no problem with but the timing sucks... so Christmas is canceled this year!! At least for me, which is fine, it's just a commercialized farse these days anyway and so many things about it piss me off... All I need is a nice big meal and time with the family and I'm good. The good news is we get Friday afternoons off for a while!
So yeah, got that news on a Friday, the Friday I was supposed to go to a concert with BrightRedScream to see InFlames and 36 Crazyfists but I was too depressed and really not in the mood for the crowds at that venue if it was anything like the Rise Against show there which was WAY over sold and annoying (crowd wise, Rise Against of course were awesome
) but yeah not crazy about that venue and definitely wasn't in any mood for it... and from the reports I was getting via text messages from BRS it was a good thing I didn't go I probably would have killed someone 
So that's my exciting life at the moment! Weeee!
I had a tattoo appointment last Wednesday and I was like "fuck it I'm not canceling!!!" it was a short one anyway and she made sure she didn't go too long after hearing my tale of woe and lost wages hehe
Not sure if I will be able to do my Dec 16th appointment though, hopefully I can figure something out as a Christmas present to me!
Things could always be worse at least it was just a pay cut and not a layoff!
