Can we stop starting wars? I am so fucking scared of this government that it makes it hard to sleep at night. I don't think that the president of Iran is a great guy, I mean he's a holocaust denier and that is not only disgusting but just plain stupid. It's like those people who say dinosaurs are a test for those who may doubt god's existence. Like we all know it happened but some people want to see how much they can lie to themselves and how convinced they can make themselves. I think it's kind of like drugs. It must give you some sort of high to deny evidence that is plain to the eye.
My point is that by pissing off every country in the fucking world makes us a target. We were not a target before. If we were doing some sort of humanitarian thing and that made us a target, that comes with the territory but we would have the support of those who saw that we were helping and the people we were helping but threatening Iran when Iraq is not doing well and it's very clear to almost everyone in the world we did not go in there for any humanitarian reason is scary.
They claim that they are just doing war games, but in view of Iran and hello!!!!!!!!!! there were (reportedly) about 10,000 (that's ten thousand!!!) military and government personnel present for this first demonstration (today.) Uh...Yah, that's not fucking war games that's a demonstration and I would think a strait out threat.
You know what would be fine with me, well not fine but much more comforting and wouldn't make my hatred towards this government thing grow, is if we tried to talk to them and even if we threatened them on the point that they just kidnapped 15 British people and are still holding them and I think "interrogating" them. That is something I can understand being pissed about but first we need to hear what England is doing before anyone ALL of You!!! Start thinking this isn't just an excuse for this government to go to war. This could potentially damage talks that the Prime Minister is having with Iran unless we are working with them, if we threaten them while England and Iran are talking that could get all of these brits killed!!!
And my job sucked yesterday. I need to start going to school again. I think I'll apply to metro or maybe I'll start looking for a job in Washington. I'm just trying to stabilize my life enough to work on my political shit. I am so into helping the world and people and I need to be able to do that but you can't help someone when you have no means. So any suggestions on how I can get out of my lease or somewhere I can post my apartment for sublease would be great. I need to get out of here and start school again.

We're saber-rattling. We do that in the persian gulf all the time. It's our happy little way of telling all of them that we have bigger dicks than they do. We put on a show, we fly the f-16s right next to their airspace... the whole shebang, but we don't actually attack. There's no way in hell the government goes to war with Iran right now. Not until after the elections. (I really wish I was kidding.) The Republicans aren't stupid. They go full on war in another country while Iraq is still fucked.... no way they'll win the election. Now if they win... Do you own a bomb shelter? Cuz I'm thinking of building one.
