Dear Diary.
Today, I slept for a full 7 hours. It was very nice to sleep in. I think I slept in because I have been so busy these last few days.
On Tuesday I went to school and I loved it. I got to use paints and we made pretty markings on paper. Mine looks like a big tree that is dying. It is very dark and I used lots of browns and reds to make it.
Wednesday night I skipped skate practice and went for a drive with Andy in the pretty purple car.
We got pulled over by a motorbike with pretty shiny lights. They flashed red and blue. The man told us to stay in the car and talked lots with Andy. When we went to go again, the purple car wouldn't start.
I got to go for a long walk and later my Dad had to come and rescue us. He made the purple car start by hooking up extension cords to it. It didn't look very safe, but it did work.
We drove home. It was very funny. Andy didn't laugh though..
Thursday was a very long day. I decided it was time for me to apply for a new job. I stayed awake forever and typed up a resume, completed my selection criteria (which was very, very hard) and my cover letter. I sent it off before I could change my mind.
Friday I went to work after no sleep. Friday afternoon I went down to the Gold Coast with work. We stayed at a place called the Radisson and it was nice. We ate at the restaurant and I had yummy some oysters, crab and delicious mushroom salad.
Later on, I went back to my hotel room and danced to the music channel. Mr Vain by Culture Club came on! I like that song. I had a long bath and painted my nails. I went to sleep just after 1am.
My alarm went off at 3am as I had to get ready for the hot air balloon ride. I was very nervous.
It was a very interesting and fun experience. It is very still and calm. It was almost peaceful.
And Proof I did It!
Later Saturday night I went to club Phoenix and saw cleverthings band 'Never' play. I also finally got to see The Kidney Theives and I loved it! They were awesome!
I had a great time and danced a little. I made new friends and got to hang out with old ones too!
Reshizzle and lostkebana make me smile lots. They even make me laugh so much that my belly hurts!
(I think I look silly when I laugh!)
When I woke up today after my big sleep in, I spoke with an old friend who I have missed lots. It was super good to talk to her again! After that I went shopping for new boring work clothes. In the late afternoon Andy and I went for a long drive up Mount Nebo and then went to Mount Coot-tha and watched the sun set over a cup off coffee. We sang to music and he made me smile. We even held hands and stuff.
I had a very fun week Diary, and did lots of fun things.
This weekend I am going to stay at the Gold Coast again! I get to dress up all Safari/Tiki like as well! How exciting!

You look like you had an awesome week! I liked the part with the purple car and the flashy lights.
And your very brave to go hot air ballooning! I'd love to but heights and I really don't agree. I wouldn't be able to shake the sensation of wanting to throw myself over the edge ... which I don't imagine would be very fun.
I like sleeping. Should really do it more ...
