A test run of six frogs with no legs: Simon holds a timer, his eyes darting back and forth from the digital numbers on its face to the frogs and back again, while Lucy stands tall over the frogs holding a clipboard and a pen, waiting to mark scores.

"Ready?" asks Simon.

"These fucking things better do what they are destined, or else I'm out of my scholarship."

"Easy, Lucy. Just trust science on this one, okay?"

Lucy shivers, tensing up. "Ready."

Simon yells Go! to the frogs. They both wait for the hopping to carry them into history.
