Reading francesca's recent journal entry, gave me an idea for a tattoo.
One positive thing I remember from my child-hood is dreams that I always had about flying and living in a giant tree in my backyard.
I have been wanting to get a quality tattoo for quite awhile now...I just can't decide what i want. It has to be personal and mean something. I'm sure that the tree by itself wouldn't be enough, I think perhaps if I could think of a good caption or message to follow and adorn the tree with things or people that would really make it complete.
This brings me back to thinking about all my family ancestry...There has been a good amount of cultural cross-breeding in my family for centuries, and so there are quite a number of bloodlines crossed in there.
I'd like to find my Irish family coat of arms (Mccory), as well as the Scottish and welsh ones. But more than anyother I'd like to find out whether I have Sami blood in me, and find that family crest...I'd also like to visit a sami reservation in europe, and meet some of these wonderful people.
Pretty soon, I'll begin learning a new language, and I have so many to learn. That being the case, it'll be difficult to choose which one to start with. Too bad I can't find a Sami language program or I would learn that first.
On a side note: I had a really weird dream yesterday morning. I wrote most of it down. Maybe I'll post it later.
